Peak Gymnastics is a premier gymnastics facility located in the heart of Poughkeepsie. We offer top-quality gymnastics instruction for children of all ages and abilities . Our team of dedicated and experienced coaches is committed to helping each and every athlete reach their full potential in a positive and supportive environment. We offer a wide range of programs, including recreational classes, competitive teams, as well as birthday parties and other special events At Peak Gymnastics, we believe that gymnastics is for everyone and strive to make our gym a welcoming and inclusive place for all.

What ages do you accept for gymnastics classes?We start enrollment for gymnastics classes as young as 15 months old in our parent and tot program, and have classes ranging all the way to our adult classes.

What type of classes do you offer, and what is the level of skill required for each class?At the moment we offer gymnastics and tumbling classes, with skill level ranging from beginner to advanced.

What should my child wear to class?Your child should come in athletic clothing! That’s leggings, shorts, sweatpants T-shirt, and or leotard with their hair pulled back and out of their face. They should not have on buttons/jeans, neckless, rings, or large earrings.

What is the student-to-coach ratio for classes?Our student to coach ratio varies based on the age of the athlete. In our Parent and Tot classes the ratio is 10:1. In our PreNastics class (4-5 Year old) our ratio is 7:1. In our 6 and up classes our ratio is 8:1.

Do you offer any discounts?We offer a multi child discount which takes 10% off of the cheaper class. We offer a second class discount which takes 10% off of the cheaper class. We offer a first responder/active military discount which takes 10% off of the cheaper class. These discounts cannot be combined.

How do I register for classes?There are multiple ways to register for classes! Online - This can be done through our website or using our Jackrabbit portal Over the phone - Our number is (845 473-3966) Or in person

Is there a registration fee?We have a one time yearly registration fee of $50 for your first athlete, and a $75 family registration fee if you are enrolling multiple athletes.

When is tuition due?Tuition is due the 15th of the month, if payment is not made by the 20th of the month there will be a late fee added to the balance, if the balance is not paid by the 25th the child will be dropped from the class and will not be allowed to sign up for any new classes until balance is paid in full.

What is your policy on parent involvement and observation during classes?We have a viewing area for parents/guardians to watch their athletes during their class. We encourage parents to watch and support their child, but please leave the coaching to the instructors.

How long are the classes and what do they typically involve?Classes typically last between 45 minutes and 1 hour and involve a range of gymnastics activities designed to help students develop coordination, strength, flexibility, balance, and agility. Activities may include stretching, tumbling, vaulting, beam work, and trampoline work depending on the age and skill level of the students.

What is your policy on make-up classes, cancellations, and refunds?We do offer make up classes, make up classes must be scheduled in advance through the office and will only be permitted if there is room in desired class. Additionally each athlete only gets one make-up per month, which must be used within a month from the missed class. If make-ups are not used they will expire. There are no credits for missed make-up classes

What is the withdrawal policy?If you wish to withdraw from our program, we need that in writing before the 15th of the month. At that point you will finish out the month and then be done. If we receive the withdrawal notice between the 16th through the end of the month you will be charged for the following month, which you are welcomed to attend and at the end of that month you will be done.

Do you offer refundsWe do not offer refunds for any of our classes or services. All payments are non-refundable. However, we do offer credits that can be used towards future classes. Please contact us for more information.

Do you offer private lessons?Yes, private lessons are offered at Peak Gymnastics. Our experienced coaches can provide personalized instruction tailored to the needs of each individual student. Please contact us for more information on booking private lessons.

My child wants to take gymnastics more seriously what is the next step?If you are currently enrolled in our rec program you can contact the office and we can set up a time to talk, and for your child to get tested for team to see if that would be a good fit.

Can I watch my child's class? Do I have to stay?Yes, parents are welcome to watch their child's class! We have designated areas where parents can observe classes without interfering or disrupting the students. However, we do not require parents to stay during the class. Our trained and experienced coaches will take care of your child and ensure their safety while they are in our facility. We do require that parents stay onsite for younger children (ages 3-5) that may need assistance with using the restroom or have any other needs. If you do choose to leave your child at our facility, please ensure that you have provided us with emergency contact information so that we can contact you in case of any issues. Overall, we want parents to feel comfortable and confident leaving their child in our care while they enjoy their gymnastics class.

How do I know if the gym is closed due to weather?We will send out an Email to anyone scheduled to be in that day. Additionally you can always check our website or social media accounts, or try calling the front desk.

Our coaches have a passion for gymnastics and a wealth of knowledge about the sport. They are all certified by USAG and have years of coaching experience at the recreational and competitive levels. In addition to their technical expertise, our coaches are caring and supportive, creating a positive and nurturing environment for our athletes. We believe that having a great coaching staff is key to the success of our gymnasts, and we are proud to have such an exceptional team at Peak Gymnastics.
